Fort Calgary Resources Ltd.
Fort Calgary Resources Ltd. is a private oil and gas exploration and production company headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. The company was founded in the spring of 1999, and the first well was drilled in late 1999. That first well resulted in a discovery in the Wapella area of southeast Saskatchewan. Since then, Fort Calgary gradually expanded its production by drilling internally generated plays, and through joint venturing with industry partners. Fort Calgary does not have exploration or development activities at this time.
Fort Calgary’s operating assets are primarily in Alberta with the major assets located in the Gilby and Provost areas.
